The project "Standing Together for Healthier and Safer Community" has been started with the kick-off Meeting of the Project Consortium in February 5-6, 2021, Belgrade. Project is coordinated with 'Development Center for Youth' from Belgrade (Serbia), and METU Physical Education & Sport Department is within the project consortium which includes youth organizations, football clubs and university representatives from six different countries (Serbia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia).

The project has been implemented since January 2021 with the support of the European Union through ERASMUS+ program of the European Commission in the field of sports. The main aim of the project is to develop coach education programs that will contribute to the holistic development of children and young footballers, based on the coaching role, responsibility and practices of football coaches.
